There were issues around the time of the release candidates to 1.0 and Franz did put in some fixes. But not with 1.0.1+ I must say LPRng and printconf-gui in RH 7.x almost made me swear off RH completely. No matter how well I swore at it, as fluently as possible in as many languages I can muster, printing to my simple HP inkjet was entirely dependent on the whims of the gods. *Especially* with Scribus. Once RH 7.3 had CUPS, LPRng and printconf-gui were never to be seen again. You can get updated official RH cups 1.14 from here : ftp28t2.newaol.com a very fast mirror for redhat. plato.unl.edu has 1.15 look in the /apt/7.3/RPMS/rex directory These are build by Rex Dieter who is part of the Fedora project and started KDE-Redhat. His RPM's are usually very well done and stable. I run all my own stuff with his packages for KDE exclusively. Hope that helps, Peter
