Hi, there are two new articles on Scribus in German and Polish computer magazines (print editions):
1. German CT', issue 13, http://www.heise.de/ct/ (the best computer magazine for wide audience, I know :), compares 5 low cost DTP applications (they took Scribus 1.16). Here is their ranking: I. Page Plus II. Ragtime III. Scribus 1.1.6 IV. Greenstreet Publisher V. MS Publisher They objected to some drawbacks in handling tabulators, guides, and tables. Also, they pointed out the missing RTF import and the lack of visualisation of chained text frames. 2. Polish Chip Special on Linux, summer 2004 issue (http://special.chip.pl/special_103643.html?PHPSESSID=4732edfc7147163ff 3d37aa812e05b6a), includes several articles on DTP for Linux, among them an article on "How to produce a publication with Scribus". I don't know, what is it like, but it's good to know, that Scribus will be presented to the wider audience in Poland. best regards Maciej
