i love the idea of a rotating/revolving slogan. at the same time, you do have a need for static slogans, such as for tee-shirts, splashscreens, for print, to be quoted elsewhere especially in reviews, etc. so we do need a vote.
the slogans are not 'bragging'. they are stating what scribus is and what it is meant to be. for someone who has never heard of it before. a slogan has a proper purpose that is invaluable to the success and adoption of this project. we just have to choose one. the software could show a rotating one too. and nothing is final or binding. in some time you could drop it for a better slogan. big deal. :-) LL
