yes, that's known issue (but not the fatal bug imho). When you run localized Scribus with some fonts with limited collection of the glyphs you can see only the text until it reaches the non-contained glyph. e.g. lets suppose the font is without (some strange glyph): "P(some strange glyph)blah" => only "P"
