Like Craig Ringer said, there are dramatic differences with some files importing EPS with GS 8.x Hints for a parallel install of GS 8.x: http://docs.scribus.net/index.php?lang=en&sm=dtptoolbox&page=toolbox7 Also, note the quality of other apps to generate high quality, spec confirming EPS varies widely. Hope that helps, Peter
