Hi All: Finally it looked like Xandros users would get an updated version of Scribus. Originally, they have vsn 1.0.1. Now they have upgraded to 1.2.
However, it DOES NOT WORK properly! When you click on the Tools PROPERTIES, LAYERS, BOOKMARKS they flash briefly on the screen but then disappear. Strangly enough the Tools, OUTLINE, PAGE PALETTE and SCRAPBOOK work. The fact that the PROPERTIES box doesn't work makes Scribus almost useless. When I try to use another debian source(ie. the CVS source) for Scribus, it says "broken files" and won't download. Any answers or suggestions would be appreciated. Tom
