Try moving the scribus dir (under /usr/lib64) to /usr/lib Lukasz Jernas Lukasz - Dzie(n)kuje bardzo. Moving the contents from lib64 > lib solved the problem with the no-show preferences dialog and also the printing problem. thanky you robert
