[Scribus] Importing a PDF?

I have just installed Suse 9.1 Professional with Scribus.  I can't seem to
find out how to open or import a PDF file so that I can modify the document
that was created with Quark.  Can Scribus open or import PDF?  Can someone
give me some directions or where the steps are documented?
