Not so novice question at all IMO. This is kind-of a usability problem IMO. There is a drop-down list on the color tab on export where you can differntiate between Screen, Print, etc.
1. For something so fundamental this is a bit hidden. This is THE most important setting on PDF export IMO. 2. It should perhaps say Screen (Convert all images to RGB), Print (Convert all images to CMYK), XY (Convert all images as is) Am Dienstag, 30.
