Sure, what kind of font are you using? If it is a commercial font which is marked as "dont embed", Adobe Reader might decide to honour that flag and ignore it even if it is embedded. Try "subset font" as PDF export option in Scribus. ATM Scribus will convert the chars to outlines, so the "don't embed" flag is lost. /Andreas
