<quote>Just a thought but macs are very expensive for what they do. For $600 you can get a fast Linux workstation with a decent graphics card running native up to date Scribus and save a lot of time until you have your port. It could save your company time and money just now. If you get fed up with it, use it as a fileserver, firewall or windows games machine :-)</quote> Yeah, I know, but I've drunk the Kool-Aid. :-) Seriously, I have a Linux box (dual-boot Suse 9 with Win2K), and I've used recent versions of Scribus on it. I like Linux and vastly prefer it to Windows. But I still like the Mac better. - -- Cheers, Kevin Walzer, PhD WordTech Software--Open Source Applications and Packages for OS X http://www.wordtech-software.com http://www.smallbizmac.com http://www.kevin-walzer.com mailto:sw at wordtech-software.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (Darwin) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFCKh1QJmdQs+6YVcoRAmKuAJ9Y5W+stqZ2qsr35GsP5B6AQFXzKwCfa3Uw uPmrygJtBi+DEXXNbuypcQc= =j/e6 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
