I've just started using 1.2 and I must say that I've been fairly impressed with it so far. My one frustration is that there isn't a button to click for bold or italic font face. Other apps (DTPs and word processors) have these buttons and just list the typeface. Is there a reason that Scribus does it this way? Any plans to change in the future?
It just seems like you'd shoot for a UI that is close to what users are used to seeing elsewhere.
