Please note: For those that are building Scribus themselves, LittleCMS (lcms) and the TIFF library (libtiff/tifflib/tiff etc depending on distro) are now mandatory as per the build systems in 1.3.3.4cvs and 1.3.4cvs.
For those using the distro packaged Scribus, or Windows or OSX versions, this should all be taken care of for you.
