on that note, coming from a journalistic background, the magazine needs readers and to fuel a "war" (and the media is good at that) between an open source product and an "industry standard" giant makes for good reading; and the spin offs are there for the picking. back to the article, did i understand correctly that scribus can produce a presentation similar to ms powerpoint and open office impress? regards, dwain
