Hi, It very well could be Scribus is rejecting them if they are progressive jpeg. Progressive Jpeg is pure poison in pre-press. See: http://docs.scribus.net/index.php?lang=en&page=importhints for some hints. That page does need some updating as Scribus now handles PSD *very* well. The new PSD import tricks Franz has done in 1.3.4 are impressive. Messing with the internals of Scribus is not likely to fix your issue IMO. My guess is the the jpeg's have something not quite right in them. What application created them ? Have you tried to resave them in GIMP or Photoshop as a Tiff ? We can probably figure it out quicker if you file a bug and attach the files. Hope that helps, Peter -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
