It is simple enough to pull text from .odt files into a Scribus text frame, and it works very well indeed.
It would be very useful to be able to import graphics from an .odt file as well. The idea would be to have a .odt file that looks like this: line-of-text line-of-text [graphic] line-of-text And able to import that .odt file into a text frame and have a graphic frame magically created at the proper location on top of the text frame, with the graphic inserted. The objective here is to be able to put graphics in columns with classified ads, like a "LOOK HERE" with big eyes on it or "GREAT DEAL" in a starburst, or whatever. Any ideas for how to do this without having to manually place the graphics after importing the classified ad text? -- MELVILLE THEATRE ~ Melville Sask ~ http://www.melvilletheatre.com
