Some small corrections about Cin?Paint from a july thread: Gtk2 Cin?Paint is capable of Cmyk editing (even not very throughout) and 16-bit printing including proof simulation and colour in/out gamut preview. As well Cin?Paint could be called from Scribus with the cinepaint-remote command.
Some basic overview: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CinePaint Photographic/Print Tutorial: http://www.behrmann.name/index.php?option=com_weblinks&task=view&catid=67&id=56&Itemid=85 Downloads: http://cinepaint.bigasterisk.com/CinePaintDocumentation Unfortunedly for debian there are no actual packages or missing dependencies. Wether one needs to edit in Cmyk at all is a different question. regards Kai-Uwe Behrmann -- developing for colour management www.behrmann.name + www.oyranos.org + www.cinepaint.org
