Sounds great! You could also make me a little happy by just using single pixel lines to frame text boxes when they don't have a outline. same goes for the bleed line... why is it getting thicker on zoom??? Same goes for guides. Only the margins get this right. they are always 1 px in width... Now, that was easy :-D Thanks! I had been looking for it in the preference dialogue. > See also: > > http://bugs.scribus.net/view.php?id=6122 > > http://bugs.scribus.net/view.php?id=6107 > > > Secondly I would suggest to make that the default and instead of having > > a bunch of in my opinion useless colours (projects usually have > > corporate colours anyways) making it easier to add a new colour, by > > placing a "new" button in the colour choosing section of the properties > > dialogue. > > Please check the bugtracker. What is the resource manager? I'll check tomorrow, I guess. it's late in Germany right now, as you know and I'm also studying currently for my exam on Monday. > > > > Keep up the good work! > > > > I hope to abandon Adobe InDesign with Scribus 1.5 :D > > I hope you won't, since 1.5 will be a developer version. It says it was slow for large texts, but I find it unresponsive already with basically no text. I'm specifically referring to selecting text. It's actually horribly slow and unresponsive... > HTH ?? Thanks again for the answer! Take care! David
