However, I have another issue that's even more of a puzzle. I am attempting to use gs 8.15.3 on Fedora Core 6 to rip and print an 11x17 document on a HP LaserJet 5100. My commandline is as follows: gs -dNOPAUSE -sDEVICE=lj5mono -r1200 -sPAPERSIZE=11x17 -dCOLORSCREEN -dDITHERPPI=150 -sOUTPUTFILE=temp.xyz inputfile.pdf -c quit This gives me a file temp.xyz, which I then send to the printer with this command: lpr -Plp2 temp.xyz My final printed output includes only the bottom half of the original 11x17 pdf. inputfile.pdf is 11"wide and 17" long. When I print temp.xyz I get the bottom 8.5" on my paper. I have tried passing various -o options to lpr but none of them make any difference.
