This e-mail is about a major issue with TTF font embedding while exporting to PDF in Scribus 1.3.3.7/OpenSuse 10.2. Some fonts which have worked perfectly with earlier versions of 1.3.3.* (this user mentions 1.3.3.4) cannot be embedded anymore, only converted to outlines (PDF export dialog/Fonts tab). I can observe this behaviour it with 1.3.3.8 and 1.3.3.9cvs too, e.g. Verdana, Georgia, Nimbus will be moved automatically to the "Fonts to outline" field, although I clearly remember having no troubles with embedding them in earlier Scribus versions.
