[Scribus] How were video tutorials created.

There are some very useful Scribus tutorials in Ogg Vorbis format. I 
have a Slackware Linux system. In general what hardware/software is 
required to create these using a Linux system and where can gudelines 
be found?  I am referring to the specific case of a video showing 
modifications to the Scribus window with voice over commentary.
