At the moment the bigger chunk of the Windoze world is still XP. You hint that there is an XP upgrade that will also screw up Scribus. I am developing an e-book (on Linux, natch) but aimed at Windows users, subject: using Scribus to create book covers. If there are gotchas specific to Scribus on XP I would very much appreciate hearing about them. -- John Culleton Resources for every author and publisher: http://wexfordpress.com/tex/shortlist.pdf http://wexfordpress.com/tex/packagers.pdf http://www.creativemindspress.com/newbiefaq.htm http://www.gropenassoc.com/TopLevelPages/reference%20desk.htm
