. if you see no PDF icon, use: file / save as and select PDF. This is how to save to PDF from Scribus.
Not quite right. It doesn't save to PDF. One must Export to a PFD format not <save As> or <save> with a .pdf extention. Go to File>Export>PDF and set the fields as required. Make sure you embed or outline all fonts, Check the >to print or <to screen-web>, etc Set the pdf format, 1.3, 1,4, 1.5 or what ever Go through every setting to get an idea what each does. Then in the top field set the directory that you wish to save the document to, most important. then click on save and it will create a useable pdf file that can be opened in a pdf reader or Open Office.
