hi chris, with a bit of luck, you will be getting some good answers in here...
not being a color-guru myself i can only give a small adivce... > 2) I'm guessing that the PNG created by Inkscape is in RGB colour > format. Is it a problem? And if so, what can I do to fix it? afaik, you have to enable the profiling in inkscape, when choosing the colors you want to use for your drawing. RGB is not a problem at all: you will have a bit less controll on the colors you are using since at some time the RGB colors will have to be translated to CMYK, but -- with correct profiling -- you will have a good preview on the monitor. finally, you will have to get the profile for the printer used by your print shop and create / get the profile for your monitor... you can find many very usefull in the archive of this mailing list or just wait for good hints from the scribus community! ciao a.l.e
