since you haven't got a better answer yet: afaik, you can only save values into a pdf by using adobe products (adobe acrobat) and only if the pdf has been created with adobe acrobat professional if you're creating the pdf with scribus, you can let adobe acrobat send the result of the form per email (doesn't seem to work very reliably if the mail client is not correctly configured) or post the result through http to your own server. hth a.l.e
