[scribus] scribus-ng (1.3.5) for Hardy?

Is there any package of Scribus 1.3.5svn for Hardy? This is LTS edition 
of Ubuntu so, I think, many people still use it. I see "new" scribus-ng 
packages only for Debian and Intrepid. Is Intrepid (or Debian Stable or 
whichever) package compatible with Ubuntu 8.04 LTS?
