I would call that 3D text. But you don't want that. Trust me, you don't. There has never been a well designed, attractive anything that used 3D text.[1]
[1] I am overgeneralizing to emphasize a point. Point being, you don't want to use auto-generated 3D text effects typically, and unless you are a very talented professional designer, you don't want any sort of 3D text effects. I can clarify further if need be, sheesh, people, haven't you ever heard of hyperbole?
