I am currently experimenting with Scribus for Windows. I have been asked about the MAC version of Scribus (I have almost no experience with MACs).
At http://www.scribus.net/?q=macosx is the statement "At this time we are only offering 1.3.5svn snapshots in this package format. You can get it from our Sourceforge Downloads Page (link opens in a new page). ... Just to warn you: you may need to click on the link that says 1.3.5svn to have the list show that includes the .dmg file."
