What exactly is it that Scribus can't handle about long document. Just for 
kicks, I made a 600 page document with random bits of text in it (automatic 
text boxes on every page). No problem. So is it memory problems when there is a 
lot of graphics involved? Or is there some limit that just says "You've gone 
too far. Stop. Turn back."? Knowing is half the battle...
