I'd prefer that he did read them and is too mortified by his error to respond. (Not because I want him to be mortified, but because that implies that he understands exactly what he did wrong and why he shouldn't do it again.) BTW, I like the suggestion that this list not accept posts from LinkedIn or any other social networking site. It's an elegant solution and gets rid of the issue once and for all.
