If however you are preparing a pdf document for web display then you can set up an RGB palette with no document active. Go to the menu bar and click Edit and then Colors. You can then select one of about 20 different color palettes. Several are RGB palettes. If you select a palette and the symbol alongside each color is three vertical bars then then you have an RGB palette.If it is a square with four quadrants then you have a CMYK palette. If you select e.g., Crayon TM then click on any color in the list. The "New" button becomes active. Click that and select RGB as the color model. The three color bars go from 0 to 255. If the color you seek is specified in Hexadecimal notation (00 to FF) then you need to convert from hex notation to decimal notation before adjusting the bars e.g,: 55=85 22=34 Then Red=0 Green=85 Blue=34 yields a kind of forest green. Name the new color some unique name, like "Greener" and click OK.
