Actually, on Linux doing as you say is precisely the reason the text is invisible :) I'm not really sure why, but only changing the themes from KDE's configuration applet helps. For example, for Oxygen it makes tooltips text on top of yellow background visible. Qtconfig only makes it worse. Alexandre Prokoudine http://libregraphicsworld.org
