Hi Flem, I hear you. But LSI are very clear in their documentation, and I quote:
Color Book Interior/Cover: Because color book files are required to be PDF/x-1a:2001 compliant, ICC profiles cannot be used for any color book files. Furthermore: When I export using 1.5.0 with no profiles, LSI reject my PDF. When I export using Acrobat with no profiles, LSI accept my PDF. I'm only describing my experience here. -- Ciao Richard Foley http://www.rfi.net/books.html On Tue, May 29, 2012 at 07:45:17PM +0200, Flem wrote: > Hi Richard, > > Le 29/05/2012 07:21, Richard Foley a ?crit : > >Not true for me, as described here: > > > > http://www.naktiv.net/books/wnbr/publishing.html > > > >The full colour PDF/X-1a:2001 which Scribus 1.5.0 produced was rejected by > >LSI. > > The point is that you didn't use any profile while converting your > pics and as a result, as John stated, LSI's restrictive ink coverage > limit was probably blown away in most of your images... > > Maybe should you try submitting one page PDF using the color profile > provided by John and see if LSI still rejects it ? > > -- > Flem > > > > ___ > Scribus Mailing List: scribus at lists.scribus.net > Edit your options or unsubscribe: > http://lists.scribus.net/mailman/listinfo/scribus > See also: > http://wiki.scribus.net > http://forums.scribus.net
