Hi Everyone New here so just trying to figure this out. I'm creating a product box and need to have a few languages on the back, one of them being Japanese. A business partner did the translation for us and sent a Word document with the translation, which shows up fine. I copied and pasted the text into the Story Editor and shows up exactly as it should. Updating the text frame however replaces all the Japanese characters with red squares.
I've spent a lot of time Google searching and some pages come up with the same issue I have but without a solution (or at least not one I could see). One of them mentioned about having a Japanese font, but since I'm seeing the characters fine in many other programs I'd assume that I do. Any help in figuring this out would be MUCH appreciated as I've got a deadline pressing up towards me and I'm afraid I'm going to have to rebuild the whole file in InDesign or something.
