While I pretty much agree with Owen's comments, if PCLinuxOS is a Debian
based Linux system, you can use the Debian repository to upgrade to 1.4.2,
even.  If not, and it is an RPM based system, then use the Red Hat
repositories.  While I've never used PCLinuxOS, I am under the impression
that it is Debian based.  If you need more info about the repositories, let
me know and I'll forward that.  I upgraded from Debian before 1.4.2 was in
Ubuntu's repositories and it seems to work fine.
