i think that you're misunderstanding what scribus is. it's a DTP tool, not a pre-press tool. if you're creative enough, you can do some pre-press tasks with scribus, but i'm not surprised that you don't find a poster splitter in it! and i can only support you in the idea of writing a better scribus! go for it! you'll get all my support! ciao a.l.e
