Thanks for your answer, Greg. Sorry for my inaccurate description. My problem starts just at the ?look in? feature which you are recommending. The entries there are what I called ?shortcuts?. No matter how often I drag some directory to this section ? the next time this window appears, it is set back to original configuration. That means that there is the main directory and the user, nothing else. I wonder if this is more some problem with the OS but with scribus itself. Sebastian
