I have a problem when opening an image frame to get an image: the
directory only shows .png images. The drop down menu: all supported
formats only shows all supported formats and all files and a lot of
empty space between them. When I open all files all formats are visible
and I can choose them and use them.
Scribus 1.5.7 is a flatpak installation on Linux mint 20.1 64b Cinnamon.
BTW I had the same problem with scribus 1.5.6
