The same scripts and installation settings and methods work for any management solution, KACE, SCCM, or other, just as Sherry said about itninja. Method of deployment does not change the fact that I need to use certain switches or install pieces in a certain order to successfully deploy a software title and itninja seems to have accumulated the largest repository of this information.

If you’re looking for SCCM knowledge, I’d recommend: MyItforum.com (wealth of information on System Center products: also, you’re already here, since you signed up for this list) Technet/Technet Forums (sometimes you can’t beat going to the source) Joe Heaton Enterprise Server Support Information Technology Operations Branch Data and Technology Division CA Department of Fish and Wildlife 1807 13th Street, Suite 201 Sacramento, CA 95811 Desk: (916) 323-1284 From: listsad...@lists.myitforum.com<mailto:listsad...@lists.myitforum.com> [mailto:listsad...@lists.myitforum.com] On Behalf Of slkissin...@sbcglobal.net<mailto:slkissin...@sbcglobal.net> Sent: Thursday, January 23, 2014 6:00 AM To: scripting@lists.myitforum.com<mailto:scripting@lists.myitforum.com> Subject: Re: [scripting] SCCM - Application deployment Scripts I think what you are asking is “how do I possibly start figuring this out”. I’ll point you to two different places. 1. www.itninja.com<http://www.itninja.com> At ITNinja, people, no matter if they happen to be using ConfigMgr, or GPO or any method, people share “how to get something to automatically install quietly with the settings we need”. So it's not about “how to get this installed with CM12”, but “how to get this specific thing to install automatically”--which when all is said and done, is all you really want, I believe. 1. csi-windows.com, the training courses, books or other resources there can help you get up to speed on how to support windows-based devices using industry standard methods (again, not necessarily “how to use CM12 to…”, but about scripting, windows installer technologies, app-v, etc.) From: Syed Lateef<mailto:syed.lat...@nive.gov.ae> Sent: Thursday, January 23, 2014 5:05 AM To: scripting@lists.myITforum.com<mailto:scripting@lists.myITforum.com> Hi All, I’m a beginner on SCCM 2012 any one please send me the best scripting url which will be easy for my routine work. Like just to change version,regkey,etc.., Regards, Syed Lateef
