It sounds like you don't know what windows you have and what their parents
are. So, I'd issue the keystroke you're using to cause the focus to change
(so that the window you are interested in has appeared), then hit the hotkey
to run the TreeView app so that you can see all the windows, and who is a
child of whom. Compare some of the names to those in your log.

Hth,

Chip

Hi Chip et al: Below is about as simple as I can get and eliminating the
process filter did not help.
So you guys are the pros from Dover, what next?
Will posting the WEEvent lines help?
Which objects or events do you want to see in particular?
Do you want to see the properties for the Overlap Window?
Option Explicit
Logger( "Test Line From Top")
Dim windowObj
Set windowObj = ClientInformation.Overlap
ConnectEvent ClientInformation.Overlap, "OnChildFocus", "OnChildFocus"
Sub OnChildFocus( windowObj )
Logger( "OnChildFocus fired")
End Sub
