Yes Rick, I should have sent you my app mod for that for Steve is correct. I
used it for my hotkey rest when in menus and the role was going to be used
but did not need it.
So, in the function call back just add the focus...

Hook MSAA.OnObjectFocus, and check if your Accessible object's role is
role_SYSTEM_MENUITEM. If it is, then that's your most recently focused
menu item.
