Breaking News App:
I have uploaded the Breaking News app but already have made changes to
it and since the testing of it was not done at the Web Support end it will
not be posted until Monday.
The changes needed in it which are done are the use of the mouse and
only the left click mouse is available.
So, after uploading I added the left click mouse for all features of the
Breaking News to allow 3 choices for web sites
which are:
1) Got the web site, 2) Download and read the web site in text format, or 3)
Download the web site and list all it's links in a list view.
The other feature which I did not add to the help menu is the ability to
view the Favorites list you have on your computer. It will either list all
the links in a list view or show it as a text where you can read/choose the
link you want to go to or download as the 3 options allow.
So the new Breaking News app will have mouse ability and the chance to
read/operate your favorites list without having a browser running.
Enjoy the Breaking News program for you can also search for full
phrases, partial phrases and heading markers each time you do a text
download search command. With all done inside the same search. For if the
first 2 fail, the last 2 are done until something is found.
Besides the search, the history commands come in handy when wanting to
know the previous searches you have done and there 2 sets of commands for
the history feature.
The F4 to F9 or the Alt-Shift arrow keys do the same thing.
So it should be available Monday when everyone is back from vacation.
