Hi Mike,

Yes, there are classes (comprising some 30 something hours of mp3 files), but
unless you're a professional programmer (well, even if you are), you still are
going to have to invest quite a bit of time before being able to write
moderately complicated scripts. Also, under the help menu of the Window-Eyes
main window is a choice for documentation, and under there is a quite thorough
reference manual for developers. It's not designed as a teaching tool, but a
reference source, but still I thought I should mentioon it.

The quicker and easier route is to learn to use the HotSpot app; it lets you
apply logic and commands to help work around difficult situations, without
having to learn how to script. It comes with Window-Eyes, so check out its
help feature to learn what it can do; in many situations, it can take the place
of scripting with much less work.

Hello Chip

I am interested in learning how to script.

Are there any concise notes to get a beginner started. At present I
am training with a new Guide Dog and time is at a premium. I don't
have the time available to listen to long mp3 files.

With thanks and best wishes

Mike.
