Thank you for the replies. I looked at error traces and it's working now. The error was coming from "myStrings = weapp.Strings(General.XMLResource);" in MyWindowEyes.cs. When compiling the solution, there is another WECSharpExample.XML file auto-generated. This file has the same filename but different content from the one that comes with the sample project. After modifying General.cs to point to the right xml file, the app loads successfully now.
