I just want to make sure I understand what you want.

Are you looking for a Open file style dialog box that returns the section to
your script when you click “Open”?

Or are you looking to find a File Browser window and grab the selected file to
do processing on?

I believe the former is available in a File System object, but I am more
familiar with how this is done in other systems. I know that Chip’s scripting
tool needs to do this.

Best wishes,

Jonathan Cohn
