You're correct, I'm dutch. Nevertheless SDCC is 
international so I communicate in english about it. Also 
I do not consider you more important than any other user 
and therefor only wish to communicate about it in 
public. Anyone should be able to learn from your 
questions and the answers given. Thus I reply to the 
SDCC user list and will not respond to further personal 
email.

There are some coding rules for C. Search for MISRA C or 
some form of lint.

A book that helped me learn C is "C a software 
engineering approach" by Darnell & Margolis.
