Hello Gudjon,

The ASxxxx assembler and linker that come with SDCC are 
not used for PIC development. Do you happen to use that 
or are you using one of the other targets?

We did not create the ASxxxx assembler and linker, we 
only adapted it to suit SDCC's needs. Writing those from 
scratch will probably take quite some time.

Whether the statement is a real problem or not is 
something I cannot help you with. Sorry.
