With out starting a flame war here I will tell you this : You come here on this forum and ask a question about a shitty piece of not documented code which is full of errors. When asked (by me) what sdcc version you are using or what your thoughts were with shifting the value of a char out of its 8 bit range you have the nerve to say "don't tell me anything else". With my limited knowledge of C (there are much better and more qualified persons on this forum) I was trying to help you, I started at the first errors I saw. I was rewriting your code but did not post it yet, Edwin was much faster then me and did post a rewritten piece of code. This all to help you. But I will support Edwin and wish you good luck in reading the documentation AND the website you were pointed to earlier : http://catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html roelof ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All the data continuously generated in your IT infrastructure contains a definitive record of customers, application performance, security threats, fraudulent activity and more.
