following a discussion about STM8 SPL license
(https://github.com/STM8-SPL-license/discussion), some time ago I
proposed the creation of open-source device headers for the STM8. The
aim of those headers would be to avoid license issues and to facilitate
re-use of STM8 code blocks based on "standard" device headers.
Thanks to Covid-19 lockdown I finally finished development of device
headers for STM8 :-) Yesterday I uploaded the headers, together with
some examples, to https://github.com/gicking/STM8_headers The examples
should be self explaining and the headers can be mixed easily with SPL
(see respective example). Due to the sduino project
(https://tenbaht.github.io/sduino/) I refrained from updating my
"one-code-fits-all" examples under https://github.com/gicking/STM8_templates
