Sorry, I accidentally replied to the sender and not the list. I just tried this, and get an error: sdcc -mstm8 -DSTM8103 -c lib_max7219.c lib_max7219.c:177: warning 196: pointer target lost const qualifier lib_max7219.c:453: error 20: Undefined identifier '__SDCCCALL' *** Error code 1 I guess __SDCCCALL is not in 4.0? If not, then I will still have to define something in the header file.
